Property Photos for a Treatment Inquiry: Share Only What Is Needed

Provide useful site images while keeping access credentials and unrelated personal details out of the inquiry.

By Wildfire Treatment Group.

Show the area in context

Useful images show the vegetation, nearby buildings and access relevant to your question. Add simple area labels so the reviewer can connect them to your sketch. Take photographs from locations you can access safely and lawfully. Do not enter a neighbor’s property to obtain a better view.

Limit unrelated information

Avoid including entry codes, identity documents, financial papers or unnecessary images of occupants. A photograph for a private assessment is not automatic permission to use it in advertising. If public use is later discussed, agree separately on what can be shared and how the location will be described.

Keep the record understandable

Tell WTG when each image was taken and what has changed since. Preserve original project records where practical and send updates with a clear explanation. If a photo cannot show an important condition, say so instead of guessing. The purpose is to support a relevant review, not to create a complete public inventory of the property.
