Bring the intended use into the discussion
Describe the proposed buildings, access and landscape rather than asking for treatment of an unspecified acreage. Seek the relevant planning, building and wildfire advice for the site. A vegetation application inquiry does not establish that the land is buildable or that a proposed design meets requirements.
Identify what will change
Road construction, excavation and clearing may substantially alter the ground. Keep a current drawing that distinguishes retained vegetation from areas expected to be disturbed. Ask which assessments should occur before design decisions and which work should wait until the finished conditions are known.
Use WTG at the appropriate stage
WTG can discuss potential pretreatment suitability and logistics, but a final application scope needs meaningful site information. Do not assume treatment of existing vegetation covers later landscaping or a future home footprint. Keep any preliminary discussion labeled as such and request a current review when the project reaches the relevant stage.
