Begin with a specific road section
A community road may pass common land, individual lots and areas managed by other parties. Identify the sections the association wants reviewed and why. WTG can discuss appropriate vegetation pretreatment within an agreed scope. The request should concern recognizable areas rather than an assumption that every roadside within the neighborhood will receive application.
Make daily access part of planning
Share school transport, deliveries, resident traffic and other uses that could overlap with the visit. Identify narrow points, gates and locations where equipment positioning needs review. Agree on how any temporary arrangements will be communicated. A nominated manager can help coordinate the work while residents retain a clear point of contact for practical questions.
Coordinate with existing road and grounds work
Mowing, drainage maintenance, tree work or road improvements can alter the proposed areas. Discuss the sequence with WTG and the relevant contractors before application. A community wildfire plan may offer useful context for priorities, but the commercial treatment scope still needs its own review and authorization. Keep those distinct documents connected without treating one as automatic approval of the other.
Explain what the project does and does not establish
The completed record should identify the vegetation areas actually included. Roadside treatment cannot guarantee an open evacuation route during a wildfire. The association should continue emergency planning with local authorities and keep residents directed to official instructions. WTG’s role is a planned application project with understandable boundaries, coordination and documentation.
